These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by SOAPY BINS (PTY) LTD, trading as Soapy Bins, a private company registered in South Africa under registration number 2025/763001/07, operating nationally and based in Pretoria.

By subscribing to or using our website (www.soapybins.co.za) or any related service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making use of our services.

2. Our Services

Soapy Bins provides residential and commercial wheelie bin cleaning services across South Africa. Services are provided at the customer’s physical address according to the selected subscription frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly).

Each service includes:

- Cleaning and sanitising of the specified bins.

- Use of environmentally friendly cleaning products.

- Water-efficient cleaning methods.


3. Subscription & Payments

Subscription Model

Our services operate on a subscription basis, where customers select their preferred cleaning frequency and make recurring payments.

Payment Methods

Payments are processed securely through Paystack, our authorised South African payment gateway.
By subscribing, you authorise Soapy Bins to charge your chosen payment method according to the subscription plan you select.

Pricing

Standard pricing is R300, subject to your selected cleaning frequency.

Prices include applicable taxes.

Soapy Bins reserves the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days’ notice to subscribers.

Failed Payments

If payment is unsuccessful or declined, your service may be suspended until payment is resolved.


4. Service Scheduling

Cleaning will be conducted on a scheduled basis according to your subscription frequency and service area.

You will receive communication (via SMS, email, or WhatsApp) regarding scheduled service days.

If bins are inaccessible, not placed outside, or already collected by the municipality before our arrival, the service will be recorded as “attempted” and will not be refunded.

Any missed service due to operational issues on our side will be rescheduled at no additional cost.


5. Cancellations & Refunds

5.1. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time by notifying us via email ([email protected]) with 7 days’ notice before your next billing cycle.

5.2. Refund Policy

Refunds are not automatically provided for services already rendered or missed due to customer unavailability.

If Soapy Bins fails to deliver a paid service, you may request a credit or refund within 7 days of the missed service.

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days once approved.


6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

- Ensure bins are placed outside and accessible on the scheduled cleaning day.

- Keep pets secured and driveways accessible for our cleaning staff.

- Provide accurate contact, billing, and address information.

Failure to meet these conditions may result in a missed service being recorded as completed.


7. Liability & Disclaimer

Soapy Bins will take reasonable care in handling and cleaning your bins but will not be held liable for:

- Pre-existing damage to bins.

- Faded paint or labels due to age or exposure.

- Service delays due to weather, water restrictions, or municipal issues beyond our control.

While every effort is made to ensure safety and quality, the service is provided “as is” and at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, SOAPY BINS (PTY) LTD disclaims liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss resulting from the use of its services.


8. Rescheduling or Missed Services

If service cannot take place due to:

- Severe weather,

- Water shortages,

- Load shedding affecting our cleaning operations, or Municipal collection changes,
we will reschedule your cleaning within a reasonable timeframe.


9. Data Protection

Your personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).


We take your privacy seriously and only use your data for operational and service-related purposes.


10. Marketing Communication

By subscribing to Soapy Bins, you consent to receive service reminders and promotional offers.
You may unsubscribe at any time by emailing [email protected] or following the opt-out instructions provided in our messages.


11. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, designs, and materials on www.soapybins.co.za are owned by SOAPY BINS (PTY) LTD.
You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our materials without written consent.


12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the South African courts.


13. Updates to These Terms

Soapy Bins may revise these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
